2019 Character Cup - Round 3

As round 2 ends, so do the nominations for our mini-contest. Thanks to everyone who nominated. We had over 200 show nominations and a lot more variety than I expected. Stay tuned to round 4, where the mini-contest will debut. There will be a substantial delay of several hours between when this round ends and the next begins. Over in the prediction contest, Luana continues to reign supreme with 4 out of the 6 polls correct. Congratulations! If you are just joining the contest, please check out the rules link below. Remember one vote per person per poll. Other links include the stats so far and the previous polls. Good luck and happy voting!

TV Talk Topic:

TV Talk Topic: Storylines: They Did What?!?!

Warning: Here be spoilers. Since we are talking about storylines, some things are naturally going to be discussed. It makes no sense to me to block out the entire comments section with spoiler tags, so please mark what show(s) you are talking about in the beginning so if it is a show where someone doesn’t want to be spoiled, they will know to skip it.

The character is the heart of a show but the plot often drives the character. What are some of the best plot lines you’ve seen? Have your feelings for a character changed because of a plotline? Are there plotlines you’d like to see more or less of? What is the difference between a bad storyline and one that fans dislike because it is unpleasant and/or tragic? (Thanks to Ivana Cvetanovic for the topic idea.)
