2015 Character Cup - 3B

Welcome back to the 2015 Character Cup as we close out the third round. From the fourth round on, all winners will compete every day so winners of these polls will be in tomorrow's polls as well. There will be no more break in days as we are rapidly coming to the end of the contest. I appreciate everyone who has been commenting, voting, and spreading the word. It's been a fascinating turnout so far. Since we are now down to 12 shows participating, I've thrown in a new contest as well. After the polls, you will find nominations for your favorite TV vehicle. We will have a short vehicle contest starting tomorrow in round 4. Speaking of round 4, the following made it in: Samantha "Root" Grove, Kate Beckett, Daryl Dixon, and Dana Scully. Congratulations! Until then, don't forget to nominate your favorite TV vehicle and happy voting!

Prediction Cup Update - For the first time in the contest so far I think, we have the same top predictor for 2 days in a row. Congratulations to Perrin who remains at #1 today. Awesome! In second is Dark UFO with Wired Wizard in third. Excellent job, guys!

Today's TV Talk Topic:

Thanks to Sandi and Ceryle for inspiring this TV Talk Topic. I really appreciate it.

TV Outside the United States - What is the biggest challenge to watching shows from other countries? Which non-US shows do you watch? What are your favorite non-US shows? What are the biggest similarities and differences between US and non-US TV? I What changes would you like to see regarding access to TV from other countries? f you are not from the US, which shows are most popular in your country? Does your country primarily air American TV or shows created in your own country?

Bonus: Since we are starting to get fewer shows still in the contest, every once in awhile I will throw in a bonus poll to keep others involved too. In the nominating process the idea of vehicles being characters in a show was brought up, specifically Dean's Baby in Supernatural and the Tardis in Doctor Who but there are a lot of beloved TV vehicles out there. Nominations will stay open for today and the poll will take place in round 4. While you can nominate multiple times, please don't nominate the same vehicle multiple times.  Thanks and have fun.
